Web3 Senior Backend Developer for GameFi Studio (Node.js)

This is a remote position - you can work from anywhere. 

BattleFly is building a gamified banking platform, with ambitions to create a new category of NFT-powered games and experiences that enable and empower users from emerging economies to access and benefit from the cross-section of entertainment and DeFi. 

We're currently a distributed team of ~20 people, are well funded by a $12m+ treasury, and are looking to scale our team. We welcome people who are new to Web3, but very good at what they do, to come join our team. You'll have the ability to earn Team equity in the project if you wish.

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will:

- Evolve and implement our backend architecture (Node.js)
- Play a key role in our team building new features and maintaining existing ones. You'll be creating the APIs and services that enable our games to scale to millions of users
- Manage and optimize the AWS infrastructure that supports our projects. 
- Integrations with Smart Contracts and other platforms
- Develop clean, efficient code, write tests and document features.
- If you prefer to work full-stack, we can absolutely make that work within our team too.

We're looking for someone with experience as a Node backend or full-stack developer, particularly with experience in building highly performant, complex APIs.  

Experience in web3, blockchain etc is a bonus but not a must-have.
