Join our team as a Senior Billing Specialist and contribute to our brands, including Bitcoin IRA and Digital Trust, we are on a mission to help Americans retire. Together, we can build the future or retirement. The Senior Billing Specialist is tasked with gathering the necessary information to establish fees, process invoices, and distribute to clients. They also manage accounts receivable, update payment records with new information, and handle payment processing. These tasks must be completed promptly, efficiently, and accurately, following instructions and client preferences, with minimal supervision. Additionally, the Senior Billing Specialist acts as a liaison for the Billing Department and offers mentorship and guidance to other Billing Specialists.

What You'll Do
- Respond to telephone and email inquiries regarding accounts or company services, maintaining detailed account notes and researching any issues requested by account holders or relationships
- Assist in account maintenance, including account closures, payment processing, and fee generation
- Regularly review accounts receivable and update payment information as requested
- Ensure accurate coding on all account entries
- Process transactions in accordance with company procedures
- Handle incoming payments promptly
- Address credit card disputes
- Manage escalated issues in the absence of the Department Coordinator
- Act as a point of contact for the department
- Provide mentorship and guidance to Billing Specialists
- Assist management in meeting department goals
- Provide training on best practices and new processes as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Need
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred; however, additional work experience may be considered in place of educational requirements.
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service, operations/processing center, or related environment, or equivalent training. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong analytical abilities
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a team or independently
- Proficiency with PCs, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and other office equipment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with customer care techniques and processes
- Willingness to work extended hours if necessary
- Flexibility to perform multiple roles when necessary
- Ability to carry out tasks with minimal supervision
