This position is 100% remote, based in Egypt, and will report to the Senior Accounting Manager..

As the Sr Accountant you will...

• Lead billing and payable projects to implement the finance processes.
• Serve as full-charge accountant performing all tasks associated with the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and local taxes.
• Serve as the gatekeeper for expense reporting, reviewing all expense reports to ensure they are complete, accurate and within basic compliance guidelines
• Provide support for daily, weekly and monthly transaction reconciliation between account processors and our internal reporting database
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close efforts, including completeness of accounts payable and preparation of monthly expense and prepaid reconciliations
• Assist with streamlining systems and reporting tools to ensure efficient and accurate recording and proper classification and timing of expenditures
• Assist with external auditor requests and resolve all accounting related issues raised
• Ensure timely customer receivables collections

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience of corporate and/or public accounting experience
• Experience in Financial or Banking Industry
• CPA certification strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
• Experience with credit card/merchant bank-based revenue reconciliation processes
• Strong proficiency with Excel
• Fluent in Spanish and English required
• Agile, flexible, and responsive approach to work.
