Web3 Technical Content Developer - Launchpad

Protocol Labs is seeking a dynamic Technical Content Developer with a proven track record of building best-in-class learning content, experiences, and assessments.

Protocol Labs Network (PLN) is looking for a technical content developer who is ready to dig in and learn more, create content by trying out tools, and produce video & written content, helping train others about PL core technologies, creating content for the Launchpad onboarding program.

PLN Launchpad is a six-week, full-time onboarding program designed to train, develop, and match technical talent at scale with opportunities in Web3 across the Protocol Labs Network (PLN).

Launchpad aims to help accelerate non-Web3 talent into this new frontier and help web3-savvy contributors quickly ramp up their InterPlanetary web3 knowledge, grow strong PL Network community bonds, and find their best-fit role in the PL Network

About the Role

• Collaborate in the design of a wide range of learning and development activities, including the creation of new Protocol Labs Network (PLN) Launchpad program content to onboard new contributors & hires
• Work on early iterations of Launchpad curriculum and activities, being proactive about learning the PLN projects and network to find the resources to learn and disseminate knowledge about our protocols and projects
• Have the ability to use or learn tools to create video tutorials, quizzes, interactive learning activities, and version controlled learning content
• Research, source, and organize various educational materials, live trainings, events, onboarding cohorts, and mini projects for the PLN Launchpad and related programs.
• Develop a relationship with SME (Subject Matter Experts) and work closely with them to ideate tasks and tutorials that will help newcomers to Protocol Labs master our tools and technologies
• Contribute to high-level goal oriented planning, then scope and execute on smaller lessons, tasks, and tutorials that contribute to the mastery of those high level goals
• Lead workshops with Launchpad Cadets in our onboarding program to help the experiment with and understand the tools, technologies, and protocols that Protocol Labs builds and maintains.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree
• Experience in learning and development or leading team-wide training
• Ability to create strong community bonds between new hires
• Ability to drive programs and execute on projects independently and resourcefully
• Ability to manage and gain insights from data, and action on learnings
• Experience with using publishing tools including markdown, version control & revision tools, static site generators, and tracking & reporting tools
• Ability to adapt to ambiguity and changing internal and external environments, and working through decisions without complete information
• Excellent communication facilitation, and presentation skills; the ability to translate data for different audiences
• Thrive in a collaborative team environment, and possess the ability to build and maintain successful relationships with all levels of the organization, achieve credibility, and have the ability to influence outcomes
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with your own work and reviewing the work of others

Bonus Points

• Experience with technological training programs
• Past experience in remote and distributed companies
• Strong interest in cryptocurrencies, OSS and decentralized work
• Working knowledge of Github, Notion, and Discord
