Web3 Technical Program Manager

Compensation: $63k - $90k estimated

Location: CA San Jose, California, United States

As a key member of our Product team, the Technical Program Manager will be able to flex their technical knowledge to influence and drive cross-team projects. You will work across the organization to define strategy and requirements, manage the scope, schedule, budget, and be accountable for the execution and delivery of company-wide initiatives.

As a Technical Program Manager on our team, you will:

  • Develop and manage cross-functional programs covering a range of areas with responsibility for the program roadmap including definition, development and management of the budget
  • Provide thought and program leadership around a variety of concerns like product quality, scaling engineering processes, driving cultural principles, etc.
    • If it's something that's making the product and engineering teams less efficient or less fun, it's probably something you would have an opportunity to improve :)

  • Flex your understanding of agile philosophies, lean development principles, and common frameworks such as scrum and Kanban
  • Think critically to solve difficult problems with complex solutions and widespread impact
  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and constraints
  • Work closely with the Engineering team to build and launch new products, features and programs.
  • Deliver customer and business value

You ideally have:

  • 3+ years of software engineering, systems engineering or technical product/program experience managing complex portfolios.
    • Bonus points if you have a Certificate in Project Management
  • An engineering degree, but your true passion is managing complex programs with many stakeholders, making sure all trains arrive on time.
  • Knowledge in technical program management methodologies, experience delivering tech programs or products from inception to completion and experience articulating the impact using metrics, growth examples, ROI etc.
  • Experience with scale, production with emphasis on Reliability, Efficiency, Scalability
  • Adept ability at breaking down complex challenges into workable components and making continuous progress towards solving a problem vs. trying to boil the ocean
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and executive presentation skills
  • Experience communicating program architectures, including how and why they were run, and the systems put in place to run them
  • Strong problem solving, time management, business analysis and analytical skills
