Binance is currently seeking a Vice President of Investment to join our expanding Venture Capital team. The role will focus on originating early-stage investments, and the individual will be responsible for managing the end-to-end deal responsibility including origination, structuring and execution of investments globally.

Responsibilities:

• Source and identify new investment opportunities within the blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem to ensure a strong and continuous pipeline of potential investment opportunities.
• Manage the end-to-end deal responsibility including origination, structuring, negotiation, due-diligence, underwriting and documentation.
• Management of existing investments, supporting fundraising efforts, and other strategic initiatives.
• Preparation of investment memos and presenting transactions to the investment committee.
• Responsible for deal tracking and weekly updates for partners.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in venture capital, M&A, or a startup/technology business, with at least 2 years of experience in the industry.
• In depth understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry, including trends, themes, tokenomics, etc.
• Passionate about cryptocurrency and blockchain and a desire to use technology as an enabler and catalyst to change the world.
• Strong interpersonal skills as our investment team meets with entrepreneurs and other members of the startup community on a regular basis.
• Fluent in English.
