Web3 Virtual Events Manager

The virtual events manager will spearhead Outercore’s virtual events strategy. This will include the planning and production of virtual conferences, meetups, twitter spaces and more. They will work closely with marketing leadership to determine key events, handle logistics from start to finish (registration, event marketing, production, post-production etc.), and prove return on investment (ROI).

Responsibilities:

• Manage the virtual events program for Outercore; Help execute all phases of planning and executing virtual events programs.
• Organize flagship virtual events, such as monthly Online Meetups, Filecoin Orbit, Twitter Spaces, Live Twitch Streams etc
• Maintain a calendar of virtual events and plan out for strategic coverage with key markets and audiences
• Create processes to streamline virtual event requests or opportunities
• Maintain registration sites, communications, client meetings, mobile apps, partner database and feedback surveys
• Conduct pre-event briefs, post-event reports, including but not limited to attendee surveys, analytics, and lessons learned
• Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry experts

Requirements:

• Corporate planning experience of virtual events with over 1,000 attendees for external stakeholders (user conferences, summits, etc)
• Strategic thinker and creative problem-solver, able to glean insights, develop a vision and bring it to life with actionable plans
• Must thrive in an environment of rapid change, moving targets, high intensity and cross-functional dependencies
• Ability to prioritize tasks when faced with multiple deadlines and operate under tight deadlines
• Resourceful and able to pivot and innovate
• Ability to work independently and autonomously, while maintaining a team-oriented attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Desired Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience managing virtual events in a technology company
• Has organized developer-focused conferences and events
• Knowledge of crypto, blockchain and culture
