This job is closed
SIDESTREAM is a one of a kind software company. We focus on a great work- and engineering-culture while building software for customers, working for a DAO and trying out our own software products. However, no programming skills are necessary for this position, interest in digitalization is beneficial.
New Work is not a trend or buzzword for us, but rather our DNA - here are a few examples:
- We were founded just before the Corona pandemic and grew up accordingly as a hybrid (remote + office) company
- Our corporate language is English
- We are one of the first companies in the world to work with a DAO
Although we are only 2 years old, we have already been able to make a difference:
- Germany-wide we have developed the first digital 2-G Genesenen certificate for the city of Cologne
- The Handelsblatt already reported about our innovative cooperation with DAO
- Well-known customers like DuMont and Ubisoft trust us with their software issues
Our journey has just begun: Become an important part of our 22-member team and help shape the future - directly from the heart of Cologne.
Tasks
- Together with a small team, you'll explore new business opportunities. We offered the internship in the beginning of last year and as a result started cooperating with a DAO. This idea was featured in the press after a few months. Whatβs gonna happen in 2022?
- You will work in a young team of ambitious people and learn what it takes to bring something from 0 to 1. If you want to build your own business in the future, that might be a good opportunity
- You do a lot of research, mostly looking at internal markets and platforms - itβs not clear where the next new thing of Sidestream will come from, but Web 3 and Developer Tooling are two potential markets
- You talk to potential customers and multipliers and collect feedback on the developed theories
Requirements
- You are still enrolled in university for at least for one more year
- You can work 20 hours per week
- You are very open in communication and bring very good English skills. Any level of German is nice, but not strictly required for this position
- You are ambitious, motivated and performance-oriented - you like to approach things directly
Benefits
- A good working atmosphere, flat hierarchies, appreciative communication
- The chance to develop professionally in a growing team through direct, regular feedback and challenging tasks
- Independent and autonomous work
- Flexible working hours and work in home office
- Time-off in exam periods
- The opportunity to use a modern, well-equipped office (WeWork Friesenplatz in Cologne)
- Very fair salary and bonus structure
- Friendly, international colleagues and monthly team events
- Various perks and benefits (e.g. lunch and bike leasing)
If you would like to become part of our young team and help shape SIDESTREAM, just send us your resume and optionally a cover letter.
