What you’ll do at Blowfish
- Partner with engineering and leadership to influence, support and execute strategy and product decisions
- Work with large and complex data sets to analyze novel crypto scams using various analytical and statistical approaches
- Apply technical expertise in data mining, quantitative analysis, and the presentation of data
- Define, understand and test opportunities to improve our transaction scanning through learnings and recommendations
- Define team metrics and goals and make them easily available through ETLs and reporting dashboards

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of work experience in Data Science/Analytics
- Experience in handling large data sets using data querying languages such as SQL, scripting languages such as Python and statistical/mathematical software such as R or MATLAB
- Experience developing experimental and analytic plans for data modeling processes, use of strong baselines, and the ability to accurately determine cause and effect relationships
- Have a history of building systems that capture and utilize large data sets in order to quantify performance via metrics or KPIs
