About Pace Modern software companies are rapidly adopting a "freemium" motion, where the product is available for anyone to sign-up and use for free (ex: Zoom, Slack, Figma, AWS, GCP etc). As these companies gain more users, it becomes more difficult for them to monitor and identify their highest value customers. Pace enables these software companies to predict which of their customers have the highest likely to spend money and help them grow faster.

Pace is building one of the world's first customer insight products, built directly on top of a modern data warehouse, such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift etc. Our tech is cutting edge, since we are trying to invent new software architecture where the application can run independently of the data source. We believe most software will be written that way and you will be one of the first people in the world to work on this problem!

Based in New York, Pace is founded by former sales and product leaders from MongoDB and backed by top-tier investors and GTM leaders from the most respected enterprise software companies.

About the role Pace is looking for a talented backend engineer who is passionate about solving interesting puzzles and is excited to help us build out a scalable platform that our customers love.

Our team has built products in a range of industries such as advertising technology, databases, and blockchain. We believe that embracing unique perspectives and expertise is the key to our success.

Our tech stack Pace is built with Vue.js and Django. Our backend is deployed to AWS via Kubernetes. Our data is persisted across many data stores including Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB and Snowflake.
