Parallel Studios is developing the next AAA sci-fi franchise and leveraging blockchain/nft tech to deploy our IP as nft's, games, comics, movies, & more! We are fast moving, innovative, & flexible in a way that has allowed us to grow rapidly into one of, if not the most well-regarded nft gaming companies in the world. We aim to continue breaking ground as we merge blockchain tech with traditional entertainment to create a new paradigm in which the users own parts of the digital worlds they grow to love.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Work on a fresh codebase, the latest and greatest of the next.js ecosystem and be able to take the lead on defining what an amazing fast moving code base looks like.
• Build out an exciting set of new features around NFT trading cards.
• Help define the processes around the FE codebase.
• If desired, work on our react native codebase.
• Gain many experiences in Web3 & iterate on experiences/processes that may never been done before.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience in a senior/lead role (official or not) on a frontend Nextjs/React codebase.
• Has a deep understanding of the nextjs/react ecosystem.
• The perfect candidate knows the in and outs of react and will be a performance guru on how rendering works, how hooks work, and understanding on the best libraries to use.
• Is confident in taking the lead on development/code practices that keep the codebase maintainable and sustainable for the long haul.
• Can mentor less experienced developers on best practices and well tested code
• Has been shipping any nextjs + react to end consumers for 2+ years. Some ethers/web3.js would be nice but not necessary.
• Uses - Next.js, React Native, Jest, Typescript
• Nice to haves: web3, GSAP/Threejs or equivalent, react native, ssr
