Pixelynx is a new music and gaming venture that has been launched by deadmau5 and Richie Hawtin. We are building a music metaverse that makes it easy for any artist, label or events to launch their own interactive experiences and monetise them through Digital Collectables (NFTs)

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join us in bringing the world of the music metaverse to life and to provide accessibility, ease of use and intuitive design to our users. Collaborating with the creative and design team you will be critical to the design and ongoing development of the overall UI of our Elynxir product and future projects. The user experience is exceptionally important to us and we want to make sure all users have the same high quality experience across our Pixelynx products.

This role is fully remote and will initially be a contracting opportunity only #LI-Remote

Job Responsibilities

• Produce awesome UI designs, assets and user experience improvements to a consistently high quality
• Work with our creative team and current UI/UX designers to collaborate and grow as a designer
• Collaborate across design, production, QA and other avenues to ensure the user experience matches our vision and consumer feedback
• Present product design ideas/solutions to cross-functional teams. Identify user problems and find reasonable solutions
• Be a part of brainstorming, problem solving and ideas sessions
• Considering the user journey at all times, be a part of taking projects from ideation to finish

• You have experience working on UI/UX with exciting and cool AAA projects
• You are comfortable with project and staff management
• Product software knowledge with Figma, Adobe CC (AI, Photoshop, After Effects) Miro.
• An understanding of user journey fundamentals and what contributes to accessibility across different users, especially accessibility settings in games
• An interest and knowledge of the metaverse and web3 technology is a big plus
• You are confident with key UI design principles and have a passion for UI/UX design
• Great communication skills and an ability to engage with a multi-disciplined development team, working with a diverse group of passionate people across the globe
• Examples of your work in the form of a showreel or portfolio
• A yearning to understand and meet the needs of the user
