Job Summary
Are you a visionary wanting to grow in the exciting Web 3 industry? Become an integral part of the Polygon Compliance department to help oversee, manage and implement Polygon compliance program across all business and product units. Reporting into the Compliance Senior Manager, you will run the day to day KYC program, prepare the KYC Risk Assessment, and monitor Compliance metrics and reporting. As a Polygon Compliance specialist, you will be able to influence positive behaviors, help Polygon comply with regulatory expectations, and foster a culture of compliance.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) Client Due Diligence (CDD) reviews
- Building a fit for purpose risk assessment methodology and executing the annual assessment
- Assist in the design and implementation of Web 3 compliance framework, policies and processes
- Capture compliance related metrics and prepare compliance reports
A Day in the Life
- Processing KYB requests
- Responding to compliance policy questions
- Advising on product related compliance considerations
- Preparing the compliance dashboard reporting.
- Often use compliance work related tools include KYC vendor dashboard, Slack and the entire Google Suite.

- The Compliance team supports the decentralization vision of our values while ensuring Polygon operates within its risk appetite and within regulatory guardrails

- You will have an opportunity to work both independently but with ongoing support and mentorship
What you’ll need
- 5+ years of compliance experience in Big 4 consulting, tech blue chip, or Crypto/Web 3 industry
- Strong understanding and experience with regulatory KYC/KYB/CDD processes and procedures
- Excellent analytical and data skills
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to succinctly convey information to senior leaders
- Comfortable working in fast-paced non-standard hour environments with a goal-oriented mentality
- Strong project management and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in another foreign language
- Demonstrated Excel and data mining skills
- CAMS certification
