Back-End Developer – .NET 8, Azure & Kubernetes for Data Ingestion (Full-Time, Remote) Launchpad is hiring a Back-End Developer with solid experience in .NET and microservices architecture to help us build scalable, high-performance systems. You’ll work with a modern Microsoft stack (.NET 8, Azure, MySQL, CosmosDB, and Kubernetes) collaborating across teams to design and deliver solutions that power critical applications. This role will be part of a Data Ingestion team focused on building scalable pipelines and services that process large volumes of data in real time and batch environments. You will be a top contender if you bring prior experience designing, optimizing, or maintaining data ingestion systems, streaming architectures, or distributed data processing solutions in cloud environments. 🗓 Start date: ASAP 📆 Contract length: Indefinite 🌐 Work hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30 to 16.30 PST 🏡 Work mode: 100% remote

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing

Design and implement back-end services and APIs using .NET 8+ and microservices architecture Develop and optimize database solutions with MySQL and CosmosDB for scalability and performance Work in a cloud-native Azure environment to deploy and manage solutions Containerize applications and handle deployments using Kubernetes Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and resilience Conduct unit and basic end-to-end testing to ensure quality before release Participate in code reviews, write technical documentation, and ensure high standards Collaborate closely with front-end, DevOps, and product teams to align goals and delivery

✅ What You Need to Succeed Must-haves

3–5 years of experience with .NET Core / .NET 8 Proficiency in MySQL, with exposure to CosmosDB Hands-on experience with microservices architecture Experience deploying services in Microsoft Azure Proficiency with Kubernetes for container orchestration Ability to write and validate tests (unit, functional) for your own code Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud-native development practices Strong problem-solving mindset and collaborative spirit Advanced+ English level and experience in agile environments

Nice-to-haves

Experience in Azure-based production environments Familiarity with event-driven architectures Background working with distributed systems Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD workflows Understanding of DevOps practices in cloud-native ecosystems
