Web3 Content Strategist

Monad Labs is creating the foundation for a new world of powerful decentralized applications. We're doing this by building a new ultra high-performance blockchain supporting 10,000 TPS and a growing ecosystem of app developers leveraging the high throughput and interactivity of our platform.

About Monad

Monad is an early-stage venture-backed crypto startup founded by HFT engineers from Jump Trading. We are working on the most impactful problem in crypto: building a high-performance blockchain to address severe bottlenecks in existing systems.

Our core product offers the best of both worlds for dapp developers: performance and portability. Our platform's key differentiator is the combination of extremely high performance while maintaining backwards-compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, the existing standard in which most existing apps and libraries are implemented. To do this, our team solves challenging problems in distributed systems and low-level optimization.

The Role

After strict focus on developing our core infra and technology, Monad blockchain is quickly approaching its Testnet v0 release. Ahead of that launch, we are excited to welcome our first growth hires to lead our community engagement efforts.

As Content Strategist, you will become the written and spoken voice of Monad Labs and an evangelist for Monad blockchain—creating and publishing content, growing our public presence, identifying areas of growth, and discovering new mediums of outreach and growth.

This role is on the critical path of Monad's growth.

Requirements

• 1+ years in content-creation or related role at a crypto-first company
• Smart and extremely curious, you are driven to understand the industry and how our work at Monad is incredibly impactful.
• Able to create regular engaging content, managing publication schedules timelines, etc.
• Understanding the crypto ecosystem, micro-systems and the potential for dapp composability
• Self-directed; a problem-solver with a desire to contribute to Monad's success
• Technical fluency; can explain at a high level the technical challenges of our company
• Bonus: previous experience at a L1 or L2 blockchain protocol

What you'll be doing

• Act as the community representative for Monad Labs and Monad blockchain
• Work alongside other members of BD and Ecosystem team to build cohesive brand and voice for Monad
• Proactively identify, organize, and execute upon creative ways to generate brand recognition, community growth, community engagement through events such as AMAs, Twitter Spaces, contests, community programs, etc.
• Identify, track, and impress community KPIs
• Manage socials (e.g. Twitter, Discord, Telegram) and lead engagement including content publication and community follow-ups with quick, clever, helpful responses
• Stay up-to-date on cycles, topics, trends; be nimble and incorporate relevancy into outreach
• Advocate on behalf of both community concerns, needs, feedback, while communicating Monad vision
