What is Polygon?

The Role

Blockchains are treasure troves of data. All of it is publicly available and only a query away. But data visualization of Web3 is still in the early stages and the space is replete with opportunities to do truly ground-breaking work. At Polygon, you will work at cross-function with the content and analytics teams. The content team is the home of narrative building at Polygon, with blog and podcast as the main outlets. Analytics folks have their fingers on the beating pulse of the network and generally eat, breathe, sleep and wake blockchain data.  Speaking of data, Polygon PoS hosts over 19,000 decentralized applications with $5 billion of assets secured, processed 1.65 billion transactions since inception and has over 142 million addresses. It is also home to some of the biggest Web3 projects from DeFI protocols like Aave and Uniswap V3, NFT marketplaces OpenSea and Mark Cuban’s Lazy.com and Web3 gaming efforts including DraftKings, the Sandbox and Decentral Games.
