Primary Overview of Position:
The Cavaliers Operating Company, LLC is seeking a talented Digital Products Coordinator who will be responsible for helping drive engaging and impactful user experiences through the organization’s digital platforms. The role, under the guidance of the team leader, will be focused on driving business impact by ensuring a great user experience for our fans in a rapidly changing digital landscape.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will work closely with teams throughout the business to help create digital experiences that drive business results. Your primary responsibility will be to create a great fan experience across digital and mobile platforms for fans while driving business results.
Champion the highest standard in digital experiences across all the organization’s digital products; including:
- WEB: Supports the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of the team’s website (cavs.com), with a key focus on user experience, search engine optimization and utility. Assists in maintaining team and venue websites, including Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA), Cleveland Charge (NBA G-League team), Cleveland Monsters (AHL team), Cavs Legion (eSports team) and Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, working with internal stakeholders and 3rd party vendors/leagues.
- APP: Supports mobile web and app maintenance including content management, user experience and optimization.
- FAN PROFILE: Oversees all aspects of the team’s fan platform, including day-to-day operations of the profile, content and utility within the profile, quality control, user experience enhancements, innovative engagement opportunities, measurement, and regular reporting.
- CONTESTS: Assists with the creation of all contests and sweepstakes.
- DESIGN SYSTEMS: Assists in the creation of our web and mobile design system that unifies all digital products (web, app, email).
- NFT PROGRAM: Manages the day-to-day assets, creative and promotion schedule of our NFT program, including assisting in the launch and engagement of our discord channel.
- EMAIL & DATABASE: Learns and assists our Email Marketer with email marketing sends including content, lists and reporting (within Stensul and Salesforce) on an as needed basis.
- ANALYTICS: Assists in analytics dashboards to highlight performance results, assess KPI achievement, and explain key insights.
- TRENDS: Remains up to date with the latest digital media trends and best practices.
- RELATIONSHIPS: Builds and develops relationships with internal stakeholders to ideate, and assist in implementing, training, and distributing the managements of team and venue website sections, landing pages and sweepstakes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Genuine passion for Digital User Experience – you gotta love this stuff!
- 1-3 years of experience supporting consumer-facing web sites and mobile applications (digital agency or client-side digital marketing function).
- Experience with CMSs (WordPress, or something similar) and basic ability to perform maintenance of digital products.
- Experience-based knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Web design, user Interface design, user experience design, or a graphic design background.
- Strong knowledge of online measurement tools, and technologies.
- Excellent communicator, written and verbal - able to present and sell ideas.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Strong creative thinking and ability to plan and propose new ideas.
- A self-starter with the desire to seize opportunities and take initiative without needing to be told.
- Ability to onboard, learn, and create internal processes for new software implementations.
- Professionalism, and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and game nights as assigned.
- Must be organized, highly motivated and team oriented.
