Web3 Ecosystem Growth Manager

About SOCKET SOCKET is the first chain abstraction protocol. SOCKET was founded in 2022 with the mission to solve increasing fragmentation between rollups and chains. Over the last 2 years, SOCKET has facilitated over $15bn in volumes. SOCKET is leveraged by the top protocols & applications in the space like Metamask, Coinbase, Rainbow Wallet, Zapper, Zerion, OpenSea, Aevo, Matcha & more. SOCKET is looking for a Ecosystem GTM Manager to drive ecosystem growth. You will be responsible for crafting and executing GTM for the SOCKET protocol across different target segments. You will be working with our product, BD, design, and comms teams, and will help shape the conversation around SOCKET’s product offerings, ensuring they speak to our target group needs.

Role & Responsibilities

Drive ecosystem growth by identifying, engaging, and onboarding strategic applications to build natively on SOCKET. Conduct comprehensive market research to map emerging categories, trends, and competitive landscapes, generating actionable insights. Continuously identify and prioritize target groups and projects that can derive maximum value by building natively on SOCKET's chain abstraction protocol. Represent SOCKET with projects across all target groups and develop product and business case for them to build on SOCKET. Craft compelling narratives in the form on proposals, pitch-decks, one pagers and case studies that demonstrate SOCKET's unique value proposition across different market segments. Provide constructive feedback for the product and dev-rel teams to improve the product, docs and other partner touch points. Design tailored partnership proposals that speak directly to potential partners' strategic needs.

Required Experience

3+ years of experience in a crypto VC firm or in product strategy roles. Deep understanding of not just the products but also the vision and strategic potential behind the products. Technical depth beyond a surface-level comprehension is extremely critical for this role Masters of communication who can articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences - from technical teams to executive leadership Ability to look at market trends at both macro and micro levels Strong storytelling ability with experience connecting customer problems and objectives to a product Self-starter with a bias for action, able to operate autonomously and able to collaborate cross-functionally.
