Overview of Role

Heretic Ventures is seeking an experienced Director of Sourcing to join an early stage consumer products business that Heretic Ventures is launching.

The Director of Sourcing will be responsible for sourcing, supply chain, quality and compliance and will shape general operations strategy that takes the company from 0-to-1.

The ideal candidate is a results-driven and strategic thinker who has deep experience and proven track record in sourcing the production of consumer products at large, established companies.  Despite having worked at larger companies, they ideally have an entrepreneurial mindset – willing to do whatever it takes to build a successful startup – and ideally have also had small-company or entrepreneurial experience.

This is a unique opportunity to help build a billion-dollar company from the ground up while learning from successful repeat entrepreneurs and a stable group of powerful and experienced mentors and advisors.  The position reports to the CEO of the company.

This is a hybrid role with the preference for 3 days per week in-person in our sunny Presidio, SF office.  The position will require extensive international travel. The position is compensated with salary, benefits, and equity.
