Company Overview:

hermeneutic investments is a best-in-class trading firm specializing in opportunistic cryptocurrency market strategies. It has profitably navigated volatile crypto markets over many years since the founders began trading and has performed exceptionally well since the company’s professional inception over a year ago in a challenging crypto market environment.

Its aim — to maximize risk-adjusted returns by leveraging informational advantage, crypto-nativity, and multi-disciplinary talent. Its bedrock — a drive to evolve, an openness to debate, a need to win.

Nogle, which provides broad support to the firm technologically and operationally, is a leading fintech and web3 powerhouse. Its growing suite of financial services is designed to bridge traditional finance with digital assets solutions.

Job Overview:

As a seasoned HR expert, you will partner with firm management to design and implement a winning human resources and talent acquisition strategy dedicated to identifying exceptional employees and retaining them for the long-term success of the organization. You will be the backbone of the company from a people management perspective and ensure that policies reflect hermeneutic’s high standards and open culture.

This is a unique opportunity for a savvy and experienced people management professional to be at the forefront of a growing industry within a nimble organization. Notably, hermeneutic has a market leading remuneration program that all employees benefit from, unlike most other trading firms and hedge funds.

Key Deliverables:

    • Be a resource for employees across the organization on topics ranging from everyday queries, career growth and development, to sensitive topics.
    • Develop the human and talent pipeline within the company across all levels and divisions.
    • Conduct interviews and provide strategic advice on high-level talent decision making.
    • Coordinate aspects of employee on- and off- boarding, outsourcing non-sensitive administrative and operational processes where possible.
    • Discuss and identify talent gaps, future development opportunities and training needs and create new training initiatives accordingly.
    • Build and maintain an environment where the company’s culture flourishes and ensure employees are aligned with it.

Experience and Qualifications:

    • Significant leadership experience in people & talent management in the asset management industry, exposure to crypto and/or technology-driven buy-side firms is preferred.
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills along with a strong sense of urgency.
    • Prior success in establishing and achieving key performance indicators, short and long term priorities and ability to shift direction in a fast paced environment.
    • Collaborative, team player who enjoys working in a flat environment.
    • Preference for Taiwan-based or APAC-based candidates, relocation/remote work option available.
    • Bilingual Mandarin/English fluency is required, experience in covering Taiwan or dealing with Taiwanese HR administration is an added plus.
    • Bachelor and/or Master degree from a recognized university.
