Web3 Warehouse Operative

WHAT WE NEED

We’re looking for dynamic and organised Warehouse Operatives to oversee the safe receiving, handling, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of Avant Arte’s art editions. 

This position will be hired on an on-call basis (zero-hour contract), to support our peak project periods where we need all hands on deck. The hourly rate is  €18, paid monthly. The rate is inclusive of holiday allowance (Vakantiegeld), holiday leave (Vakantiedagen), and travel allowance. Additional benefits include pension contributions.

FULFILMENT & OPERATIONS

• Exceptional care in handling, movement, storage and packing of property with your primary focus and goal being the safety of both people and products at all times.

• Complete efficient handling and packaging of our print and sculpture editions, in line with internal fulfilment SLAs to support the successful delivery of customer orders.

• Close attention to detail to maintain inventory records for launch releases & inventory orders.

• Receipt any collector returns into the warehouse, taking photographs and recording issues as directed to provide the customer support team with information needed.

• Support with the preparation of logistics documentation, including the appropriate filing and archiving of documentation

• Ensure health and safety measures are observed at all times, including proper use of machinery, and PPE.

• QUALITY CONTROL

• Support our Warehouse floor leads with quality control checks which are carried out on all goods received into the warehouse. This includes taking photos, and recording on the appropriate internal systems.

• Receipt of returns into warehouse, inform supervisor of arrival

• WAREHOUSE MAINTENANCE

• Organising storage spaces as part of a team to ensure optimum efficiencies.

• Day to day support in the management of the Warehouse floor, including accepting deliveries and safely storing inbound shipments

• Maintaining and organising stock levels for ancillaries, and supporting the Warehouse Coordinator with ordering needs

• Maintaining a safe and tidy environment, including recycling & waste management.

• Ensure Warehouse cleanliness is maintained.

• Be vigilant with security and safety procedures, and immediately report any areas of concern or risks identified.

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, annual, cycle stock counts as directed

The main skills we’re looking for are:

• Reliable and efficient in an operational context, with experience in handling high value goods, with a high level of output

• Very high level of attention to detail and organisational skills

• A problem solving mentality with the ability to think outside the box to come up with innovative solutions

• Highly organised self-starter with a can-do attitude

• Multi-functional to work across all floor areas. Must be able to undertake regular heavy lifting (max 23kgs without support) and comfortable working at heights on ladders and using a power drill to close boxes.
