Web3 IFRS Financial Reporting Specialist

Your mission:

As an IFRS Specialist, your mission is to leverage your extensive expertise and experience to provide expert guidance on complex IFRS issues. You will lead the seamless implementation of new standards, ensuring our organisation stays at the forefront of compliance and accuracy. Your dedication to developing comprehensive accounting policies and delivering precise consolidated financial statements will drive our commitment to excellence in financial reporting. With your strong organisational and communication skills, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial audits and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in accounting practices.

What you’ll do

• Tackle and resolve complex IFRS queries and issues, ensuring full compliance with the latest standards and regulations.
• Spearhead the implementation of new IFRS standards across the organisation, including impact assessments, policy development, and stakeholder training.
• Develop and maintain cutting-edge accounting policies and procedures aligned with IFRS requirements.
• Deliver consolidated IFRS financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, collaborating closely with Financial Controlling on monthly management reporting.
• Support the financial audit of consolidated financial statements and efficiently handle requests from our year-end auditors.

Who you are

• You bring over 4 years of professional experience from multinational or publicly traded companies.
• A certified accountant or possess higher education with a strong focus on group accounting.
• You have expert knowledge of IFRS and, ideally, Austrian GAAP (UGB).
• You are fluent in English, with German skills being a valuable plus.
• You possess exceptional organisational and communication skills, with a knack for prioritising tasks, deliverables, and meeting deadlines efficiently.
