YOUR ROLE
As IoT Lead/Head of IoT @Early Stage HealthTech Start-Up you will be the driving force in developing Pharmio’s automation solution and leveraging process data to create a truly smart manufacturing environment. This is the perfect role for a motivated and experienced leader excited about shaping a venture on a massive, transformative and purpose-driven mission early on.
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES

Development of a fully-fledged automation solution including design of system architecture with definition of all respective hard-/software solutions and security aspects

Execution and documentation of Computer System Validation (CSV) activities in line with GAMP 5 guidelines in a highly GMP-regulated industry

Elaboration of a new, data-based qualification inspection model for time-reduced future module replication

Negotiation with third party suppliers to ensure development of first MVP in spec, budget and in time

Development of an integrated IoT-platform for process visualization, controlling and optimization based on data analysis

Contribute your own entrepreneurial and innovative ideas, and accelerate growth and operations
MUST HAVES
-
Experience:
-
+5 years of experience in process automation, ideally in pharma or chemical industry and/ or data science
-
Well versed in GMP environments especially GAMP 5 with with advanced knowledge of computer system validation in highly GMP-regulated industries

Pharma industry expertise and technical knowledge of automation systems on all levels (sensors, PLC, SCADA, MES etc.) with respect to pharma production

Proven leader of cross-functional teams with experience in agile project management and able to form and drive high-performing teams

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree

Passion: Deep understanding and zeal for automation, data, IoT and tech-driven products and services — specifically for innovation in healthcare, advocate of needed changes from current production methods

Toolbox: Process automation, Knowledge of European and German legislation in the area of GAMP5 and CSV, applications of Internet of Things in pharma manufacturing

Language: Proficiency in English and/ or German (both written and spoken)
NICE TO HAVE

Experience:

Worked for either small or large pharma companies and/or automation solution providers

Previous experience either with modular manufacturing methods or collaboration in cross-company industrial associations (e.g., DECHEMA or NAMUR)

Relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment like start-ups, or management consulting
