THE OPPORTUNITY

Requirements

The Collaboration Systems team is seeking an Internal IT Program Manager to accelerate the delivery of an important and urgent program that impacts the hybrid experience for our client admin.

About the Position

In this role you will be developing and managing detailed project schedules and work plans for their conference room and hybrid technology track of work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the development of strategy, objectives, prioritization and roadmap for the project/program and be an ambassador for them to the IT and Workplace Orgs
  • Liaise with Internal IT, their AV integration partners, their Workplace partners and their vendors to identify key requirements needed and ensure deliverables meet expectations
  • Produce transparent and effective communication to stakeholders regarding program progress, flags and decisions throughout its lifecycle
  • Assist with coordination of upstream/downstream dependencies when they inevitably occur
  • Negotiate any changes in stakeholder and/or external party expectations in relation to the program’s strategy, goals, prioritization or roadmap
  • Zoom in and zoom out, to see how all the moving parts should tie together, and systemize them into a functioning program aligned to a single set of objectives

About You

You are a natural communicator, patient listener, and detail oriented. Our client's community and its needs are always changing; you should enjoy staying organized, and maintain a “can-do” attitude in a dynamic workplace.

  • 3-5 years of experience as a project manager or program manager with a thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods, especially within IT
  • Operational mindset. Experience creating and driving processes which smooth execution without creating undue burden. Ability to maintain order in times of ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Work courageously and proactively to define and contain complicated problems, prioritize effectively, and deliver quickly
  • Excellent communication skills. Able to adapt communication for each audience and channel. Experience building senior leadership level communication and assets
  • Experience with AV and conference room technology or Workplace Operations, such as office build outs

To note, the preferred work mode for this role is hybrid (availability to partially work in the Brooklyn HQ) but the worker could work remotely if needed.
