Utilizing advanced trading and risk systems, we operate across global crypto exchanges, offering deep liquidity and tight spreads in a variety of products. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and driven junior trader to join our New York-based team. This is a full-time, in-person role covering trading operations from Saturday through Wednesday, and an excellent opportunity to join one of the leading sell-side crypto trading desks in the world. This role would likely transition to a M-F full-time trading position following a successful 18-month term covering Sa-W. Responsibilities:
Trade and manage positions across various crypto spot and derivatives markets Coordinate closely with the global trading teams to maintain seamless 24/7 market coverage Ensure accurate trade capture and quality data flow in our risk systems Execute and maintain up-to-date position reconciliation with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness Compile and analyze metrics for trading Work closely with accounting and operations teams to ensure record accuracy and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree 1 - 4 years of experience in trading or trading support experience at a bank, proprietary trading firm, or market-making firm. Crypto experience a plus Basic understanding of options theory and greek risks Coding skills (Python, SQL) are desirable but not mandatory Strong interest in crypto and macroeconomic markets Personal experience using various blockchain protocols and understanding of crypto liquidity conditions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Team-oriented
Compensation Base pay for this role is expected to be between $96,000 - $175,000 USD for New York City. This expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role will also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance linked bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package.
