About the Market Intelligence Specialist
The candidate selected to fill our market intelligence specialist position will be responsible for gathering and organizing market information from secondary and primary sources on sectors and industries (i.e: Retail, Consumer Goods, Finance, Insurance, Education, Health etc.) and analyze how technology adoption and consumer behaviors are shaping the customer experience market and trends.
The market intelligence specialist is a curious person, able to translate a huge amount of qualitative and quantitative information into actionable insights, delivered in different executive formats (such as reports and executive presentations) that can be widely consumed by our leadership teams and Business Lines to make better decisions.
This position plays a critical role in supporting Zenvia's success on materializing its strategy on the long run, by consistently providing analysis and recommendations on how the IT and CX markets (including CPaaS, CCM, MCM, CS, CDP and others) are evolving on global and local perspectives, leveraging different market research techniques along with constant interactions with executives within our organization in order to identify possible new use cases and investments on go-to-market and product development initiatives.
You will have access to several research sources (such as Gartner, IDC, Statista and others) to map and generate insights on different industries, CX technology markets and competitors moves. Nevertheless, one of the most important skills for this position is also be a self-starter a proactively find new sources of information to enrich our analysis.
Primary Responsibilities and Activities
- Gather information and build insightful executive reports on different industries (sectors) and technology markets with focus on customer experience, B2B and B2C use cases, consumer digital behavior and other emerging trends (such as cybersecurity, A.I., Cloud, Blockchain etc.)
- Execute secondary and primary research to track competition moves, strengths, weaknesses, and support product marketing teams to build battle cards that enhance our sales effectiveness
- Use external data and information portals (i.e.: Gartner, IDC, Statista, Neoway etc.), along with internal information to estimate and size industry and market opportunities, market share and forecasts
- Present research and analysis findings throufg executive presentations to our Business Lines teams.

- Comfortable navigating and exploring online sources for data and information gathering on market trends and competitors, as well as interacting with internal and external stakeholders to conduct qualitative interviews on specific topics
- Ability to work with various individuals and teams across the organization, with strong collaborative work >
- Ability to be a self-starter and displays drive to be a continuous learner, capable of working with ambiguity. Ability to problem-solve and overcome obstacles and roadblocks with resiliency and enthusiasm (persistence)
- Strategic thinker with balanced analytical and creative thinking, able to merge qualitative and quantitative information to uncover market opportunities and present it in executive, consumable ways
- Genuine interest on technology trends, and how it can improve customer experience in the world. The candidate must be comfortable with technology concepts and navigate well within a fast changing market.
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience must include Market Intelligence, Research and/or Insights roles. May include product marketing, strategic planning, M&A, presales, sales enablement, business consulting services, business expansion, R&D and/or customer experience related positions as well.
- Preferably previous experience in technology software and/or service companies
- Good understanding of technology concepts such as CX, CRM, Cloud, SaaS, etc. Ability to associate and articulate the impact of technology on customer experience value and outcomes
- Ability to work with sales and product marketing teams, as well as develop and deliver executive presentations to C-Level
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills including written, verbal, and formal speaking scenarios.
- Ability to not only consume technical, financial, and business documentation fluidly and quickly, but also retain and articulate information based on research. Delivers insights among data ambiguity and unstructured data
- Deal with situations in wich deliveries are presented in a time-sensitive situation.
- English (fluent) is a must. PowerPoint and Excel advanced skills
- A. or B.S. in Marketing, Economics, Administration, Technology, Design
