Web3 Middle Office Intern (Summer 2023)

Ripple is building the world’s next-generation payment network backed by our advanced blockchain technology. RippleNet, Ripple’s core product, makes it easier than it’s ever been for our customers to run a high-performance payments business. Ripple’s Finance organization plays a key role in the intraday and back-office operations required to run the RippleNet payments business.

In order to continue building and codifying processes that enable the secure and scaled growth of RippleNet, we are looking for someone who is passionate about the FinTech industry to join our Middle Office team. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

You will work with the Middle Office team and collaboratively across the Finance team to engage in projects to help build, codify and harden processes to enable the secured and scaled growth of the Finance team in support of Ripple’s business and customers. You will get to meet and learn from diverse and talented colleagues across Finance, Product and Engineering teams.

The Middle Office intern will analyze and streamline operational processes, support projects related to automation and risk management. The internship will be a great way to make contributions to the continued success of our products.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, preferably in a business or related major
• Experience with Google and Microsoft office applications, including Excel
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams using strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid understanding of financial markets and traditional brokerage
• Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus
• Experience with SQL, Python or R, and some data visualization tools (ie. Tableau) a plus
• Leads with inclusive actions and has a strong work ethic
