If you are looking for a role in an exciting new industry, at a dynamic company please keep reading.   About the role:  This is a unique opportunity to join our newly established Middle Office team in London.  Middle Office Specialist will support Head of Middle Office in building out a newly established team whose objective is to ensure timely reconciliations, settlement and risk oversight, and regulatory reporting. This role is central to bridging the Front Office, Operations, Risk and Compliance functions, while supporting our mission of delivering world-class client service and efficiency.    Duties and Responsibilities:  

Reconciliation & Control

Identify and resolve reconciliation breaks between exchanges, wallets, clients, banks, and accounting systems in a timely and accurate manner. Work closely with Dealers, Operations and Finance teams to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.

 

Risk Management

Manage risk processes including limit monitoring, margin requirements, margin calls, and exposure analysis. Ensure adherence to internal risk policies and external regulatory standards.

Regulatory Reporting & Compliance

Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure compliance with EMIR, CFTC/SDR, ISDA, and other applicable regulations. Collaborate with Technology, Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment.

  Required Skills and experience:

Previous experience from a similar role within Middle Office and/or Operations department at a financial institution. Strong understanding of financial instruments, trade flows and settlement processes. Knowledge of best practices in trade lifecycle management, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting. Continuous improvement mindset. Thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Experience with-/understanding of crypto products and markets would be an advantage.
