Summary:

The Program Coordinator supports the organization, schedules and coordinates buildathons and workshops, and monitors workshops and tutorials. The ideal candidate will have experience working with online communities, including the ability to engage with communities outside of Mona and bridge them together. They will have experience in the creative industry and strong organizational skills. They will also have an interest in understanding the metaverse and web3. This role will report directly to the Program Manager.

Success in this role will be measured by:

• The number of participants attending and returning to workshops
• Quality and quantity of products produced from the workshops
• The number of new partnerships established and communities brought in

Responsibilities:

• Support the organization, facilitation, and coordination of buildathons and workshops by building relationships with different partners and communities to increase participation in events
• Organize and/or facilitate workshops that run in conjunction with Mona’s Buildathons with updated documentation
• Maintain and monitor workshops and tutorials to ensure relevant stakeholders are supported, and deadlines are met
• Assist with identifying partnerships for programming and support in conducting retrospective meetings to identify areas of strengths and weaknesses
• Contribute to programmatic strategy framework and planning and communicate updates amongst the different stakeholders and channels
• Establish and extend current partnerships to broaden our community reach and co-host workshops
• Engage and educate existing and external communities on Discord to build rapport and foster a positive, collaborative environment

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Unity and Blender or 3D modeling software (preferred)
• Experience in the creative industry with strong interests in the arts (music, film, traditional art, etc.)
• Experience working with online communities, including the ability to engage with communities outside of the company and bridge them together through hosting and facilitating workshops, buildathons, and related events
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills shown through proven experience in building strong relationships with online communities
• Enthusiasm in bringing together a diverse community of participants and facilitating their growth and relationships with other participants at Mona
• Adaptable and able to respond effectively to changing needs and priorities
