Responsibilities

    • Develop and manage Binance’s compliance policies and processes in APAC countries
    • Lead communications with local regulatory bodies as well as internal coordinations 
    • Responsible for handling regulatory compliance matters, assisting with regulatory surveys and filings, license applications and overseeing compliance monitoring programs
    • Prepare communications to regulators showcasing Binance’s state-of-the-art regulatory processes and procedures and identify possible gaps that need to be addressed for full regulatory compliance
    • Stay ahead of new regulatory developments that may impact Binance’s business operations such as the travel rule, PDPA, etc.
    • Manage key strategic regulatory projects, support regional rollout of policies and procedures.
    • Help develop a regulatory compliance culture through training by delivering regulatory-related training to business units
    • Assisting with maintaining overall compliance with the requirements and obligations prescribed by the local authorities & regulators

Requirements

    • Proven interest and/or experience in the fintech sector
    • Minimum of 7 years experience in a risk, fraud, compliance, AML or regulatory function, experience working with any regulated financial services business in legal or compliance roles preferred
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global organization maintaining close contact with relevant teams across multiple locations
    • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to provide useful and efficient counsel
    • Good understanding in performing risk assessments, periodic/trigger reviews and enhanced due diligence
    • Proactive, diligent team player
