Web3 Scrum Master

We are seeking a scrum master to help grow the engineering team.

We're looking for someone who can support our engineering teams and our product development organization in their adoption and mastering of Agile Practices.

This is a full-time remote position, with team members in North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. This role is unique because you will be working within a progressive scale-up organization on cutting edge technologies whilst embodying, growing and fostering an Agile mindset. If you enjoy figuring out about new technologies and are motivated by unleashing the potential of individuals and teams, then this role may be a good fit for you.

Ideal candidates are strong communicator with experience supporting team as Scrum Master or serving other Agile Methodologies, with the ability to coordinate people and projects (occasionally facilitating changes) with your mind set on deliverables.

What you will be doing

• Manage each project’s scope and timeline
• Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
• Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
• Help build a productive environment where team members ‘ own’ the product and enjoy working on it

What you will bring to the team

• Prior experience with agile development using Scrum
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
• Experience of project management and delivery tracking tools, e.g. JIRA
• Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
• Being self-driven, giving and taking responsibility
• Scrum Master certification such as SAFe, CSM, PSM, etc. is a plus
