Web3 Senior IT Auditor

Your mission

Is the establishment of an internal IT audit function including a team in the DACH region. You are enabled to build our internal IT audit from the scratch and shape it according to the Bitpanda DNA. You are experienced in performing audits worldwide and with large-scaled Tech companies in either German or English language. You are dedicated to the mission of internal IT audit being an important contributor to the quality and safety of our products. Beside the IT audits, you are heavily involved in the product development process. Your sense for efficiency, focus on the regulatory requirements, and solutions drives and motivates you. You love to travel most of your time and easily adapt to new circumstances.

What you’ll do

  • Develop a comprehensive IT audit strategy tailored specifically for the Group, with a focus on optimising processes within the DACH region.
  • Perform and participate in CCAG audits worldwide.
  • Establish and oversee a dynamic team within the DACH region, fostering a collaborative environment for achieving audit objectives effectively.
  • Innovate and refine the IT audit approach, enhancing synergy with the first and second lines of defence to bolster organisational resilience against potential risks.
  • Play an integral role in the advancement of product development initiatives by providing valuable insights and recommendations through active participation in the process.

Who you are

  • Seasoned professional with over 10 years of specialised IT audit expertise, particularly within the dynamic landscape of the financial industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of its intricacies and regulatory requirements.
  • Possessing an esteemed certification such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or equivalent audit-related education, or a distinguished track record of participation in Corporate Compliance and Audit Guidelines (CCAG).
  • Demonstrating a readiness to embark on extensive global travel, up to 75% annually, reflecting a strong dedication to executing audits with thoroughness and precision across diverse international contexts.
  • Proficient in both German and English languages, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration within multicultural environments, and ensuring effective engagement with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exemplifying a collaborative spirit as a team player, contributing proactively to group dynamics, and serving as a role model through exemplary work ethic and a commitment to fostering a culture of excellence.
