Senior Scheduler
Job Overview
The Senior Scheduler - Data Centers develops and maintains the integrated schedules used to plan and manage CleanSpark's AI data center portfolio. This role consolidates information from development, utilities, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness into a decision-ready view of milestones, dependencies, critical path, and forecast completion. The Senior Scheduler independently evaluates partner and contractor schedules, identifies emerging risk, and works with project teams to develop practical recovery plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and status integrated master schedules for active data center projects and the broader development portfolio using Primavera P6, Oracle Primavera Cloud, or comparable scheduling tools.
- Establish work breakdown structures, activity coding, calendars, schedule levels, baseline requirements, update procedures, and quality standards consistent with PMO governance.
- Integrate milestones and dependencies across land and power, permitting, design, procurement, long-lead equipment, construction, commissioning, customer requirements, and operational readiness.
- Lead weekly and monthly schedule-update cycles, validate reported progress, maintain consistent status dates, and produce short-term look-ahead schedules for project teams.
- Review contractor, consultant, and design-partner schedules for logic, sequencing, durations, constraints, float, resource assumptions, and alignment with contractual and program milestones.
- Identify critical and near-critical paths, emerging delay, milestone exposure, and schedule compression; communicate early warning and recommend corrective or recovery actions.
- Develop schedule scenarios, fragnets, time-impact analyses, and what-if evaluations for changes, delays, acceleration strategies, and key project decisions.
- Support schedule-risk analysis and maintain transparent treatment of float, contingency, assumptions, and forecast confidence.
- Provide schedule information for stage-gate reviews, project-controls reporting, cash-flow forecasts, procurement planning, executive dashboards, and customer communications.
- Coordinate external scheduling resources and verify that schedule products comply with CleanSpark methods, data standards, and reporting expectations.
- Maintain schedule records supporting change evaluation, claims avoidance, and dispute analysis in coordination with Project Controls, Legal, and project leadership.
- Improve scheduling templates, methods, integration points, and reporting practices as the portfolio expands; perform additional duties as assigned.
This role requires professionalism, respect, strong communication, and the ability to work well with others in a team-oriented, inclusive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Seven or more years of progressive construction scheduling experience supporting large capital projects, including data centers, power, utilities, industrial facilities, or other mission-critical infrastructure.
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and experience with Oracle Primavera Cloud or comparable enterprise scheduling platforms.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining integrated master schedules that consolidate multiple contractor, consultant, procurement, and owner workstreams.
- Strong knowledge of critical-path methodology, baseline management, progress measurement, schedule quality review, time-impact analysis, fragnets, and recovery planning.
- Demonstrated ability to challenge unsupported schedule logic or progress and communicate schedule risk, assumptions, and recovery options clearly to project teams and leadership.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with careful attention to schedule data quality and documentation.
- Ability to travel to project sites and support critical schedule updates or project deadlines when required.
