Site Lead - Cryptocurrency Mining

Arkansas Center for Data Sciences (ACDS) is helping GMI Computing hire a Site Lead in Newport, AR.

GMI Computing is a semiconductor-backed mining venture securing the Bitcoin blockchain. Our mission is dedicated to become a vertical industry leader in digital asset infrastructure. We are developing next-generation technology to support our deployment strategy of 200MW mining power in Iceland, Dubai, and the United States.

GMI Computing is recruiting for an experienced and hands-on Bitcoin Mining operator to direct the building and running of our Mining Farm. The engineer is responsible for creating productive and efficient mining operations. Duties for the site operator includes, but is not limited to, arranging miners, routine cleaning, repairing/ fixing miners that may involve taking apart control board, hashing board, power cord, and fan, monitoring mining container temperature, following policy and safety procedures for fixing miners, engaging with site manager and other site operators. Other focuses include minimizing hazards, preparing miner uptime report and monitoring miners uptime figure, designing, and planning workstations, testing equipment. Your operation skills will be vital to our overall business operations. We seek to create excellent and safe working conditions and environments for both staff and clients. The ideal candidate for this role should possess good communication skills, hands on hardware electronics repair skills and understanding to fix problems on his own. The outstanding site operator must understand the technical aspects of cryptocurrency mining, support day-to-day business operations, ensure efficient operation of miners, mitigate risk, and ensure that mining operations meet the needs of clients.
