Web3 Software Architect

This role is currently remote as a result of Covid.  Will consider candidates from any USA location.  When safe to return to the NY office, where possible, local employees will be given the option for partial onsite return.

Who we need

 

Someone with:

• 7+ years experience as lead engineer/tech lead/software architect.
• Experience or knowledge of the finance industry, payments, trading and/or exchange systems
• Experience with designing systems that can analyze large data sets
• Hands-on programming skills for full-stack services development
• Development experience with MongoDB, Kafka, Spark, and other databases and big data technologies
• Extensive knowledge of the software development process and corresponding technologies
• Experience and interest with modern methodologies and technologies 
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Strong knowledge of AWS and AWS services 
• Have experience mentoring junior engineers
• Experience in a startup environment, plus

What you’ll do

 

• Work closely with Product and Engineering Leads to help achieve the business goals and ultimately solve problems of our customers
• Evaluate, identify and develop software solutions
• Architect and design the infrastructure for Lukka
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand the needs for the various software applications.
• Act as a technical resource during other projects as required.  
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of software design and development related documentation
