Web3 (Sr.) Infra Engineer, Hermeneutic Liquid Trading

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the company's infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
• Manage and maintain the company's virtualization and cloud computing environments.
• Ensure the availability and reliability of our infrastructure by monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions.
• Ensure the security of our infrastructure by implementing and managing firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security measures.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, including tuning queries, indexes, and storage configurations.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies and solutions to improve our infrastructure.
• Create and maintain documentation related to our infrastructure, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Develop and execute disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a system outage or other catastrophic event.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a related field.
• Understanding of network and security protocols, including TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, SSH, and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Couchbase.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
• Work effectively under strong pressure to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks
• Flexible in working hours to accommodate urgent requests and project needs
