Web3 Security Senior Software Engineer (Java)
Responsibilities
-
Participate in the architecture design, development, and optimization of backend systems within Binance’s Web3 security domain, ensuring high performance, availability, reliability, and scalability.

Maintain, migrate, and upgrade existing backend and security service systems to continuously improve service quality and system stability.

Design and implement new services and technical solutions, working closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate business and security requirements into actionable technical plans.

Collaborate with specialist and operation teams to improve security systems, automated tools, and threat detection capabilities, enhancing operational efficiency and automation.

Work with analysts and data teams on data collection, cleaning, modeling, and analysis to support security-related use cases.

Participate in the design and implementation of backend and big data workflows for Web3 security and security control scenarios.

Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including global teams, to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
-
5+ years of backend development experience, preferably in blockchain, Web3 security, anti-fraud, risk control, or related domains.

Solid experience in designing and delivering complex backend systems in large-scale, high-concurrency, or data-intensive environments.

Proficient in Java technology stack, especially Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related frameworks.

Strong knowledge of MySQL and common NoSQL databases, with practical experience in backend service development and optimization.

Familiar with distributed systems design and middleware technologies, such as distributed caching, message queues (e.g. Kafka), service discovery, and configuration management.

Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, HBase, Kafka, Flink, Airflow, or Elasticsearch.

Experience in data-related development, including data collection, cleaning, and real-time/batch processing.

Strong problem-solving skills, proactive learning attitude, and genuine interest in Web3 security challenges.

Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Knowledge of blockchain and familiarity with on-chain data.

Familiarity with AI, machine learning concepts.

Experience in performance tuning for JVM, SQL, RPC, etc.
