About the Position:

Treasury Associate I (Wire Processing) Overview: We’re Looking for an associate who will process a high volume of accurate and timely cash transactions via wire transfer and ACH using multiple systems. The capacity to effectively multitask, manage a large workflow, and prioritize independently are key traits to being successful in this role. This person must possess a keen eye for details and a high level of integrity, especially in adhering to policies, procedures and controls.

Responsibilities;

  • Receive payment requests and prioritize work with focus on future-dated and/or template-based payments
  • Help with same day wires as needed
  • Perform telephone callbacks to authenticate payment instructions
  • Ensure that all transactions are accounted for in requests that contain multiple payments
  • Accurately enter payment instructions in USD and foreign currencies and relevant reference details into multiple payments systems
  • Understand the risks associated with the various types of payments and transactions that are being processed; consistently assess and prevent fraud attempts
  • Provide daily client cash support, with a focus on time sensitive wire settlements, funding reconciliation, investigations, wire recalls, and queries in a highly sensitive client/investor-centric environment

Other Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and verify internal consistency, completeness and accuracy of treasury transactions and reports to ensure fulfillment of treasury, business continuity, and compliance related policies
  • Continually monitor transactions throughout the day to ensure appropriate posting to accounts and reconcile all activity at end of day

Qualifications:

  • 1 – 2 years experience in treasury, financial services and/or banking
  • 1 – 2 years experience with cash transfers/wires
  • Exceptional time management, prioritization and organizational skills and sharp attention to detail especially in midst of high data volume
