As our Strategic Treasury Manager, you are the architect of Bitso’s financial strategy across Latin America. You will hold a strategic and analytical vision of our global cash, mastering a liquidity lifecycle that bridges traditional banking with the future of Crypto and Stablecoins.
From Mexico to Argentina, your mission is to design the sophisticated financial structures that enable our products to scale, leveraging FX and Crypto derivatives to preserve asset value and drive capital efficiency. We are looking for a strategic powerhouse to influence product design from the ground up, build a world-class 'Direct Cash Flow' framework, and strengthen our elite banking network. Who You AreÂ
- Strategic Advisory & Critical Thinking: You serve as a key strategic partner for product and business teams, applying critical thinking to evaluate and enhance new services. You go beyond basic infrastructure, proactively designing sophisticated treasury solutions, such as optimized funding structures and derivative integration, to elevate the competitiveness of Bitso’s portfolio.
- Cash Flow Architecture: You are a specialist in liquidity management, with the demonstrated ability to build a Direct Cash Flow position from scratch, establishing the methodology and reporting structures needed for high-precision daily and monthly forecasting.
- Risk Management & Derivatives Expertise: You possess deep technical knowledge in leading and executing the end-to-end lifecycle of FX, Crypto, and Stablecoin derivatives, including hedging strategy, execution, and control.
- Governance & Policy Design: You have the experience and authority to author and implement global internal policies, including Investment guidelines, Hedging frameworks, and Treasury Money Usage standards across the entire organization.
- Banking Innovation & Relationship Management: You are an expert at building and influencing Tier-1 banking partnerships, driving innovation to support the unique money-flow needs of a global crypto ecosystem.
- Stakeholder Influence & Autonomy: You thrive in ambiguous, high-stakes environments, navigating complex organizational structures to align Finance, Legal, and Product teams toward shared strategic goals.

What You Will DoÂ
- Design Treasury Solutions: Act as a strategic consultant for new and existing products, recommending the best funding options, financial infrastructures, and risk mitigation strategies (hedges).
- Build the Foundation: Establish and maintain the company’s Direct Cash Flow position, ensuring total visibility over daily liquidity and long-term forecasting.
- Execute Market Operations: Lead the execution of FX, Crypto, and Stablecoin derivatives to hedge balance sheet exposure and preserve asset value, ensuring both accounting alignment and the protection of capital.
- Establish Frameworks: Create, communicate, and enforce internal policies for Investments, Hedging, and Treasury Capital Usage to ensure a robust and secure financial environment.
- Manage Banking Ecosystems: Drive the relationship with traditional and digital banking partners, negotiating structures that facilitate global money movement.
- Lead Treasury Intelligence: Provide senior leadership with actionable insights and models regarding funding costs, investment returns, and risk management performance.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Leverage Project Management skills to lead cross-functional initiatives, ensuring new treasury processes are scalable and integrated across the organization.
- Technical Innovation: Apply coding and data skills (e.g., Python, SQL, or advanced data modeling) to automate manual workflows, improve forecasting accuracy, and build real-time treasury dashboards.
- Stakeholder Influence: Manage complex relationships with multiple stakeholders acting as a bridge to align treasury requirements with business goals.
- Crypto Adaptation: Integrate deep Crypto & Web3 knowledge into traditional treasury workflows, managing digital asset liquidity, wallet security, and on-chain settlement.

Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related quantitative fields.
- 10+ years in Strategic Treasury, focusing on liquidity management and long-term financial planning.
- Deep expertise in Derivative instruments (Swaps, NDFs, Options) and Financial Risk Management frameworks (FX, Interest Rates, and Market Risk).
- Proven experience managing Crypto assets and Stablecoins, including knowledge of institutional custody, wallets, and blockchain-based settlement.
- Solid understanding of Hedge Accounting (IFRS/USGAAP) and Segregation of Duties (SoD) within financial operations.
- Strong experience in Global Cash Pooling, Banking Relationship Management, and proficiency in high-end TMS or ERP systems.
- Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
- CFA Charterholder (or candidate) is highly preferred.
