About the Role
We’re looking for a Credit Underwriting Manager to help us launch into our next phase of growth. You’ll join our Credit Underwriting team, collaborating with trading, structuring and sales.

Your Mission
- Ongoing monitoring of client credit exposures and financial covenant breaches. Escalate limit exceptions/covenant breaches and make recommendations for exposure reduction or limit increase.
- Ongoing monitoring of client’s periodic financial reporting and ensuring we have up-to-date financials in our system.
- Assist with analyzing financial information and credit risk on institutional counterparties, including hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, market makers and others.
- Attend client due diligence meetings and assist with preparing call reports/credit write-ups.
- Assist with improving the credit risk framework.
- Assist with the development and improvement of the internal risk system, providing input to quant developers.
- Assist with and provide input for negotiations of client loan agreements or derivative trading agreements.
- Liaise with internal groups, including sales, trading, structuring and operations.
Your Expertise
- At least 5 to 7 years in credit risk management in capital markets or in the crypto industry.
- University Degree in an engineering, finance, or law discipline. Masters/MBAs/Certifications such as CFA, CPA, CAIA are a plus.
- Experience with hedge funds and proprietary trading firms is preferred, familiarity with loan agreements strongly preferred.
- Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients as well as internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is required. Experience with data analytics/database and programing skill including but not limited to SQL, Python etc.
- Prior experience and/or interest in cryptocurrencies is a plus.
