About the Role

This role entails hands-on engagement in all facets of venture capital, contributing to the ongoing expansion of the company's portfolio, currently valued at over 88 million USD. Ideal candidates will have over 2 years of initial work experience in early-stage venture capital and familiarity with the Web3 and blockchain industry. A proven track record of driving portfolio growth, whether in a VC or private capacity, is essential.

Moreover, the ideal candidate must exhibit drive and a readiness to operate independently in an entrepreneurial environment. Simultaneously, they should also function as a team player, providing assistance to fellow team members on all investment-related matters and collaborating closely with the leadership teams of our portfolio companies.

Tasks

• Support throughout the entire investment cycle, including sourcing new opportunities, conducting screenings, conducting due diligence, and providing reporting.
• Review data rooms and draft investment memos for the management and Supervisory boards.
• Work closely with portfolio companies to contribute to their growth and support with portfolio management topics (e.g., making introductions, business plan and strategy consultation, etc.).
• Coordinate investor communication and provide fundraising support.
• Attend Web3 and blockchain conferences, networking and pitch events to represent the company, expand our network and source new investment opportunities.

Requirements

• Relevant university degree in economics, computer science or engineering
• Over 3 years of relevant experience, ideally within the realms of venture capital, private equity, or startup environments
• Strong interest in technology, Web3 and Blockchain
• Fluent in English and German
• Ability to work independently, solve problems proactively, and take initiative.
• Outstanding communication abilities, adept at presenting complex data in a clear and effective manner.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with tact and professionalism.
