Palmswap aims to build a leading on chain Perpetual DEX on Binance smart chain. With unique ideas and a powerful team our mission is to convince crypto users of decentralized perpetuals. We are a team of experienced Perpetual traders and developers working together to create new solutions for the DeFi space.
We are looking for a Trading Systems Engineer to be a core member of our engineering team, to build and maintain core infrastructures for off-chain bots that ensure maximal price efficiency on Palmswap platform. You’ll have an opportunity to work on innovative technology that revolutionises the way we trade digital assets.
Your Role:
⁃ Ensuring the smooth operation of trading technologies, software implementation and configuration processes for our DeFi protocol.
⁃ Ensuring 24/7 operation of Palm exchange arbitrage bots so that prices on our platform match oracle prices
⁃ Developing and optimizing algorithmic arbitrage trading strategies to ensure Palm protocols price efficiency.
- Develop and optimize keeper bots for on chain order types and liquidations.
Requirements:
⁃ Experience in managing the day-to-day operation of software infrastructure and maintenance of trading systems.
⁃ Previous experience in the trading industry supporting electronic trading systems.
⁃ Experience in script development.
⁃ Experience with relational databases.
⁃ Understanding of and experience with developing basic and arbitrage strategies.
⁃ Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
⁃ High level of personal responsibility, reliability, and assertiveness.
- Experience with on chain keeper bots.
⁃ Ability to deal calmly with pressure and time constraints.
Nice to Haves:
• Experience trading or building bots that trade against DeFi protocols
• Quantitative degree in Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics or related qualitative field
• 3+ years of experience with building and maintaining algorithmic trading systems and/or trading infrastructure
