About SimpleFi
SimpleFi is a next-gen DeFi tool that shows users the breakdown of their ROI across all their investments and makes it simple for them to manage their portfolios.
The project is VC-funded, recently won a bounty at ETHDenver 2021 and is the recipient of a Uniswap community grant.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an experienced software engineer to lead our smart contracts team and launch the next iteration of SimpleFi.
SimpleFi is currently in pre-alpha and was designed entirely by the team. Our smart contract component is a system that allows users to effortlessly rebalance their investment portfolios, either manually or automatically based on predetermined triggers.
We also plan to launch a tokenized incentives program to drive community growth in the next few months.
Our ambition for SimpleFi is to make it the main DeFi entrypoint for all users, from institutional funds to first-time retail investors, across all relevant L1 and L2 blockchain networks.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test and deploy SimpleFi’s smart contracts.
- Review code written by other team members.
- Collaborate with auditors to ensure code quality standards and security.
- Build back-end web services that interact with the Ethereum blockchain.
- Write scripts to automate monitoring and tracking to maintain the system’s health.
- Engage our community by sharing design decisions and document how the protocol works.
Desired skills
- Experience in creating and maintaining smart contract infrastructure, particularly for DeFi protocols.
- An interest in the intersection of economic systems and software, and tokenomics.
- Attention to detail and a security-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable with a scripting language for task automation, preferably Javascript / Typescript.
- Have a collaborative, problem-solving attitude and be willing to help other team members.
Strongly Recommended
- Solidity or Vyper experience.
- Experience in working with external contributors and community members, particularly for OSS.
- Experience working with subgraphs and oracles.
- Interested in Ethereum research (L1 and L2), and developments in other ecosystems (particularly BSC, Avalanche, Solana, Polkadot, etc.)
- Experience with Ethers.js and GraphQL.
