As an Associate Lawyer at Solidity Law, you will be an integral part of a specialized tech law firm that focuses exclusively on blockchain and web3 matters. You will work closely with the Managing Partner, other members of the team, and clients to provide legal support and guidance on a wide range of legal issues. This role requires strong legal knowledge, analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
- Conducting legal research and analysis on various legal issues related to blockchain and web3 technology, providing guidance and recommendations to clients, other legal professionals, and internal teams.
- Drafting legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, legal briefs, memorandum of understanding, and regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations specific to blockchain and web3 technology.
- Assisting with the preparation of legal documents, presentations and reports for clients, court proceedings, and internal use, in line with our focus on regulatory compliance, M&A, litigation and other legal matters specific to blockchain and web3 technology.
- Reviewing and summarizing relevant legal materials, such as case law, statutes, and regulations, and providing summaries to the Managing Partner and other members of the team, with a focus on laws and regulations specific to blockchain and web3 technology.
- Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and other legal professionals, representing the firm in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and negotiations as required, and ensuring that the firm's position is well-represented.
- Managing and maintaining client files and databases, ensuring all relevant information is up-to-date and organized in a manner that is easily accessible,with a focus on laws and regulations specific to blockchain and web3 technology.
- Keeping abreast of legal developments and updating company databases,
- providing updates and recommendations to the Managing Partner and other team members, specifically focusing on laws and regulations specific to blockchain and web3 technology.
- Participating in business development activities such as networking events, seminars, and other marketing initiatives, focusing on the blockchain and web3 technology industry.
- Represent clients in regulatory and administrative proceedings, including providing testimony and submitting comments on proposed regulations and legislation.
- Advising clients on compliance with federal and state laws and regulations specific to blockchain and web3 technology, including but not limited to anti-money laundering, know-your-customer, and data privacy laws.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of compliance programs and policies for clients.
- Collaborating with internal teams, including corporate, finance, and investment teams, to advise on legal and regulatory issues related to blockchain and web3 technology.
- Strong legal knowledge and analytical skills, specifically in the areas of blockchain and web3 technology, regulatory compliance, M&A, and litigation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong multitasking ability
- Experience with legal research and document drafting
- Experience with legal software and databases is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Must be licensed to practice law inFlorida
