We are looking for a responsible, self driving person to lead the QA effort for the "light" team.
Person should be able to set up and maintain the testing process in the small to middle team without external help.

Responsibilities

• Build from the scratch, own and continuously improve the common testing framework
• Improve the integration between CI/CD and testing setups
• Partner with all of the engineering teams, and help them continuously improve their software and influence proper automation coverageIdentify new or missing ways to test our software
• Reduce manual labor in the Quality Assurance stage, and speed up testing cycles
• Creating and maintaining testing documentation.
• Creating and executing manual and automated tests.
• Tests are mostly concentrated around in-browser applications, but not limited to that.

Essential Skills

• Basic networking (TCP/IP)
• Basic knowledge of BitTorrent protocol
• CI/CD (Jenkins, Jenkinsfile)
• Cloud technologies understanding (AWS)
• Jira, TestRail, test tracking software
• JS, Java, C#, Python-like programming language
• batch/bash scripting
• Browser automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc.
• Good knowledge of the testing methodologies
• Must have strong diagnostic skills to properly test software and measure the quality of the product.
• Must have a technical background to be able to create proper testing scenarios from the functional requirements and detail specifications

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Develop testing plans and testing scenarios in accordance with the functional requirements and detailed technical specifications provided by the design team to ensure code generated by the development team conforms to the specified requirements.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities within a cross-functional development team.
• Design, develop and execute test cases and/or automation scripts using various tools
• Identify, record, document and track bugs
• Perform regular regression, exploratory and system testing
• Monitor and maintain bug backlogs for accuracy
• Maintain and update test instances as necessary
