As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in conducting quantitative research and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Select responsibilities include performing cost analysis based on system benchmarks, compiling metrics on blockchain usage and protocol adoption, and evaluating pricing models. We’re looking for someone who possesses not only a robust quantitative background, but also a deep understanding of blockchain market dynamics and technical engineering concepts.

This role is well suited for a detail-oriented individual who thrives working on quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and is keen to uncover the numeric intricacies that can set an early stage start-up apart from their competitors.

Note: This role requires a deep understanding of the dynamics of the Layer 2 blockchain ecosystem.

Select Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain benchmarking processes to assess the company's product performance against industry standards and peers, through collaboration with engineering teams.

• Work with co-founders to understand business objectives, and tailor analyses to meet specific needs.

• Conduct in-depth analysis of competitors within the industry, including financial performance, market share, product offerings, and strategic initiatives.

• Prepare comprehensive reporting for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Necessary Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or private equity.

• Deep understanding of the dynamics of the Layer 2 blockchain ecosystem.

• Demonstrated understanding of highly technical concepts related to software development.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as: Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, from a rigorous academic program.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience working with on-chain activity metrics. 

• Experience partnering with engineers for quantitative analysis and benchmarking in a technology-oriented industry.

• Experience with highly technical cost analysis (e.g. cloud licensing, tooling, etc.).

• MBA with a focus on finance, strategy, or related field from a rigorous academic program.
