About the role:

As a member of the product team, you will be working on leading web3 design, on-chain integration, and implementation for our flagship games. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Web3 on-chain technologies and either a working or personal background in gaming.

You will be developing and executing the Web3 roadmap for the ideal web3 architecture of our games. Examples of tasks include: evaluating game assets for on-chain monetization, making strategic decisions on whether to build or buy 3rd party tools to achieve company objectives, and determining architecture for on-chain and off-chain user flows.

You will work collaboratively with software engineers, game producers, and external partners to build, launch, and analyse our products.

What You Can Expect To Work On

  • Defining product requirements and goals: Candidates should have experience collaborating with stakeholders to establish product requirements, including audience identification, feature determination, and project timeline establishment.
  • Managing the product roadmap: Product managers are responsible for creating and managing the product roadmap. This includes prioritising features and functionality, setting release dates, and ensuring that the development team is on track to meet project deadlines.
  • Conducting market research and competitor analysis: Product managers need to have a thorough understanding of the Web3 gaming landscape and best-in-class game monetization practices. They must conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends and ensure that their product remains competitive in the market.
  • Identifying and analysing target users: Product managers work closely with the game development team to identify and analyse the target users of the video game. This includes understanding their needs, behaviours, and preferences, and designing the game to meet their expectations.
  • Collaborating with the development team to ensure timely delivery: Product managers work closely with the team to ensure that milestones are delivered on time. They collaborate with developers, designers, and QA testers to ensure that product roadmap milestones are met.
  • Monitoring user feedback and making necessary adjustments to improve user experience: Product managers monitor user feedback to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to improve the user experience. This includes fixing bugs, adding new features, and optimising the game for different devices.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Experience. At least 3 years of experience working in a consumer product environment. A Web3 background and either working experience or personal interest in gaming are must-haves.
  • Web3 Background : Product managers should have an understanding of blockchain and its usage for consumer applications. They should be familiar with Layer 2 solutions, the purpose of roll-ups, and the latest trends in token standards.
  • Gaming background or personal interest : Product Managers should have strong established knowledge of gaming practices, monetization and features that drive ideal gamer user experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills: Product managers need to be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, developers, and other team members. They should be able to lead and motivate the team to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills: Product managers should be able to analyse data and make informed decisions. They should be able to identify problems and find creative solutions to overcome them.
  • Experience with project management tools and agile methodologies: Product managers should be familiar with project management tools and agile methodologies. They should be able to manage the product roadmap, prioritise tasks, and ensure that the development team is working efficiently.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines: Product managers should be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. They should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks based on their importance.
