About the Role:
We’re on the hunt for an Account Director for the agency’s largest account, to work across Brand and Retail campaigns. This is an awesome opportunity for someone well-versed in all things digital, and who also has TTL experience translating client briefs to strategic recommendations and creative ideas
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a thorough understanding of the client’s brand and competitive environment, so that the agency and client are jointly driving the strategy and creative for their Owned Channels.
- Lead the end-to-end strategy, creative and production of campaigns & project work through the agency.
- Approve creative work that is on strategy and ensure work is effectively presented and executed to clients.
- Work with internal departments and third parties to ensure projects are at a high quality, on budget and on time.
- Develop a strong relationship with the client and work with the marketing team to actively identify/develop additional business opportunities.
- Conduct monthly client/agency reporting and present learnings and insights back to the marketing team and agency.
- Manage the professional development of direct reports, including feedback, coaching and efficient delegation
Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, together with strong presentation abilities – including effective influence/persuasion skills.
- Ability to relate well to a variety of people and build productive relationships, while still introducing elements of fun and humour in the workplace. Ability to motivate other team members.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and tact.
- The ability to approach problem-solving in an innovative way to gain the best solution.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise multiple projects.
- Ability to be a good judge of creative work in terms of factual accuracy and relevance to the brief.
- Ability to analyse data and identify trends and insights, and translate these to actionable optimisations
