Autograph is hiring a Web3 Art Director (3D)
Compensation: $56k - $90k estimated

The Role:
We’re looking for an Art Director who is passionate about telling stories and bringing them to life with art direction and design that makes the technical feel human and authentic. You must be comfortable working across all mediums, but especially 3D. You're a conceptual thinker and storyteller who can visualize your ideas in new and inspiring ways. You have a strong point of view on concept, design, product design and art direction.
Responsibilities:
- Art direct, design and concept big, conceptual brand expressions across all mediums, including 3D, AR/VR, video, etc.
- Understand how art direction, design and conceptual ideas can be used to tell a story on behalf of a brand or talent partner
- Create experimental art in a fast and collaborative environment
- Quickly learn and pick up alternative softwares and tools
- Communicate complicated technology topics in clear, concise ways to a non-technical audience
- Present ideas in a clear and focused way that builds consensus within the team
- Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment with other members of creative, tech, partnerships and product teams
- Work autonomously, with little direction
- Create original, breakthrough work
- Translate complex strategic approaches into easily accessible creative concepts
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience concepting and art directing ideas with time spent as a CG Generalist in VFX
- A variety of knowledge in the 3D VFX pipeline
- An in-depth knowledge of Maya & C4D, Redshift & Arnold
- Experience designing, art directing and articulating conceptual design decisions
- A strong foundation in the 2D workflow and experience using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects. Nuke is a bonus.
- Experience in the fields of lighting, modeling, texturing and/or FX departments
- A strong background in Look Development
- Proactive and approachable attitude with a strong sense of team collaboration
- Ability to take direction and ability to work under tight production timelines
- Strong time management and organization skills
- History of self-initiated projects
- Knowledge of and interest in product design and project strategy
- Detail-focused design skills
PreferredQualifications:
- Knowledge of Octane and Unreal
- Some Animation experience is preferred
- Sports, entertainment or tech industry experience
- Knowledge of NFT space
