The Department: Treasury / Financial Planning and Analysis
The Role: Associate, Treasury & Accounts Operations
The Associate, Treasury & Accounts Operations will be a key contributor in the overall evolution of Geminiâs Payments ecosystem and a critical participant in the implementation of best-in-class payments architecture and operations processing infrastructure. The person in this role will be tasked with maintaining all customer fund flows in and out of our bank accounts, while also preparing monthly summaries and journal entries for global customer cash to be used in financial reporting. They will assist in streamlining current payment processes, as well as assist in the rollout of future Payment products. This position requires an individual that is highly motivated and well organized, thinks critically and independently, maintains a âroll-up the sleevesâ philosophy, and thrives in a cross-functional, fast-paced, and intellectually stimulating atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Process all funds from/in and to/out of customer accounts
- Reconcile daily customer cash transactions and prepare monthly accounting summaries & journal entries
- Participate in new product integrations
- Assist Gemini's Customer Support team with addressing customer issues related to fund transfers
- Collaborate with Gemini's Finance Tech and Project Management teams to assist in implementing new customer payment rails and appropriate cash reconciliation procedures
Qualifications:
- 1-2+ years Cash Management/Accounting experience (or similar operations)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of FedWire, ACH, SWIFT, FPS, CHAPS, and SEPA a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to function independently and efficiently
- Organized with the ability to multitask
